MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the California United Baptist State Convention, Inc., ministries and auxiliaries is to bring churches into a unified relationship as Disciples of Jesus Christ.  (We are members of a spiritual body whose only foundation is the Word of God).  We fufill our ministry as we forgive, pray, proclaim, reconcile, teach and worship.  As we live by Christ's example, we empower others to carry out the commands of God.  We seek only to be God's servants as agents of healing and wholeness in a wounded and fragmented world.

OUR VISION

As we fulfill the mandate of Jesus Christ to preach the whole gospel, the California United Baptist State Convention, Incorporated seeks to embrace and fully embody the objectives of our Vision.  We believe that everything the Church of Jesus Christ does must result in salvation, security, and success for God's people.  There must be food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, comfort for the lonely, and refuge for the abused.  Meeting the needs of the least and the lonely, while applying these guiding principles during our daily living, we will help make our Vision a reality.  Consequently, as we reclaim the land of our neighborhoods, communities and cities, we must seek wholeheartedly to redeem all that Satan has stolen from us.  We encourage all to come into this scared convenant as we journey to become a people of dynamic faith and prophetic hope.
